Switching among dictionaries

I have found one question here about switching among dicts. The user wanted switch among group of languages. But, I would like to have a quick switch among English dicts only. Forexample, I have 5 dicts and want to go rapidly (no by scrolling) to Oxford which is on the last position . How to get it?

There are two ways.

1. Right click in the article view (the central component), you'll see a list of all dictionaries that have the translation of the current word. Then just select the one you need.

2. In the development version of GoldenDict there is a new component, called Results Navigation Pane, that provides the same view and it could be permanently shown as a sidebar:



Clicking on the dictionary name in this sidebar would allow to jump to the particular dictionary.

P.S. Also, the following shortcuts are *very* handy and I use them a lot: Alt-Down and Alt-Up - jump to the next/previous dictionary in the article view, so that there is no need to scroll, just quickly navigate down and up between the results.

Is here something like manual for GD? You would not bothered with silly and easy questions.

However, I am ready to show up GD to all my colleagues which are interested in foreign languages.

Not at the moment, unfortunately. And we *do* need one! As for your questions, they are perfectly OK and maybe when we get too much questions then it would be a good incentive to finally write the User's Guide!
