Sound from separate audio directory

Postby dro69 » Mon Nov 28, 2011 8:36 am

I want to use WyabdcRealPeopleTTS sounds in android version (so it is not a dictionary with sounds, but separate directory with plenty of *.wav files)
In linux version there is a possibility to define sound directories under "dictionaries-sources-sound dirs" and it works perfectly.
How to do it in android?

thanks in advance

Bare sound dirs aren't supported on Android yet. However, for WyabdcRealPeopleTTS you can download http://sourceforge.net/projects/goldendict/files/dictionary%20content/1.1/enruen-content-1.1.tar.bz2/download and use the Speech.lsa file from it, which is WyabdcRealPeopleTTS converted to lsa format.

Just copy the .LSA file to /sdcard/GoldenDict.

I have the same need. I have a directory with lots of bad quality mp3 files and I would like to search them by name.
Is it possible to create an audio dictionary from that?
