windows media player 12 freezes & GD index??

after i used GD to index a large number of sound files, wmp12 started to freeze a lot when i stream internet music...
can anybody help me with this???
online radio does not cause any problem, only streaming some individual internet songs will freeze the whole system..headache..
but i am not sure if this has anything to do with the index of sound files by GD, maybe unrelated at all???
