Scan Popup should be disabled for input box

The Scan Popup windows is an extremely useful feature but if key modifiers are no used, it triggers even when the user selects the word in the lookup input box in the GoldenDict main window.
I don't see any reason for activating the popup on selecting the text in the lookup box in the GoldenDict window itself, and consider this to be a bug.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. In Preferences > Scan Popup enable the checkbox "Enable Scan Pupup functionality". All the other checkboxes are not selected.
2. Click Ok.
3. Enter any word in the lookup input field and press Enter.
4. Select the word in the lookup input filed.
ACTUAL RESULT:
The Scan Popup window appears for the selected word.
EXPECTED RESULT:
The Scan Popup window should not appear for the word in the lookup input box in the main window of GoldenDict.
