Ctrl+C+C sometimes doesn't show popup

I noticed that Ctrl+C+C sometimes shows popup with the selected word translated , sometimes not .
Although goldendict recognizes that the word is copied to clipboard and show when launching it from terminal " translating from clipboard or selection " but the popup doesn't appear sometimes .
I tried compiling from source but that didn't solve the problem .
I am using manjaro (Arch based ) with plasma 5 . I don't know if the problem is caused by plasma 5 or not .

EDIT : I noticed that it works only in gtk apps and not in kde or qt apps !! .
By the way changing the shortcut to someting else like CTRL+E+E works just fine .

Ctrl+C+C does not work on Calibre E-Book Viewer,
I'm usung ubuntu Xenial.
Ctrl+E+E opens a new tab on Chorme and opens GoldenDict with another word..
Ctrl+S is used for Saving and opens GoldenDict with another word if Ctrl+S+S.
And no other shortcut seems to work for my system.

The first part of combination should copy word to clipboard. Did you tried something like "Ctrl+C+E"?
