Try to move the config file to some other place and recreate the settings from scratch.

The config file should be in ~/.goldendict/

Dear Friends,

I've done a lot of updates and GoldenDict is not reading (Rescan) all my Sources. I copied the dictionaries to the default location(s?) in /usr/share, and that too did not help, nor when i Remove-d those from Sources. It made no difference whatsoever. GoldenDict picked up a few dictionaries initially, keeps those in memory, Rescans one of them once in awhile pointlessly and generally stays out of my reach.

Now, i'd love your help. I wanted to do as you said, but how in the world could i move ~/.goldendict to another place? Where would i put it? It does list all my Sources pathways but ignores them. And you may well imagine a tremendous investment in downloading dictionaries. I really want to thank you, too. Just for being here, nested in Tuxie.
