The referenced resource failed to download

When clicking on an audio file on ANY DSL dictionary. i get the forementioned error..

Do you have all the WAV files referenced in your DSL dictionaries? The WAV files should reside in the same directory where the DSL dictionary is.

well i dont know but it's a 500 mb dictionary... i guess it holds them in the same file

In short, DSL dictionaries do not hold any sounds or pictures in them. It's a simple text file. Your dsl file is not compressed that is why it is 500MB.

Image and sound resources can be zipped into a file with the name foo.dsl.files.zip which should be put next to the dsl file. DSL file can be compressed with dictzip (foo.dsl.dz).
