Preparing html for conversion into bgl

Could you please give me advice on how to prepare/modify html code before conversion into html-based bgl glossary?

Specifically:

1. How to easily/automatically convert online hyperlinks into local ones that refer to entries in the same glossary?

An example reference is this:

See</span><br> <p><a href=""http://search.**************.com/content/entry/9993992"" xmlns:xlink=""http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink""><span class=""crossRef"">SEPARATION</span></a></p>

2. What else should I do to the html code before compiling the glossary with Babylon Glossary Builder?

Please notice that I don't know much about html, regex or programming languages.

Many thanks
