[solved] No results in searches by dictionary (StarDict) ?

I've added a polish - german dictionary (stardict: dict, idx, ifo) working fine whith the android "ColorDict" and the windows "Fora Dictionary"

I've added it to Goldendict and it does not show any results in searches. There is the same issue with the software "Stardict", which dispays a info an searches: "unknown file type".

Could anybody help to solve the issue?

May be you need to re-compile... with stardict-editor

Thanks, toctoc, but i do not really understand how to recompile. Trying to open/de-compile in Stardict editor i get some errors.

.ifo files of these dictionaries don't indicate dictionary content type. Try to add string "sametypesequence=h" to both .ifo.

Wow! Thank, Abs62, it works now after adding the string "sametypesequence=h" at the end in the "ifo's". Is it the right place for the string at the end as the last entry or does that not matter at which position in the ifo?

At least for GoldenDict it does not matter.
