Convert MDF to GoldenDict compatible format?

Hi All,

I'm a new member and respectfully thank the moderator for granting me membership. I'm hoping the group may be able to help with a question.

Is anybody aware of a script or set of scripts -- preferably written in Perl -- that can can convert/parse/transform an MDF-formatted lexicon into a GoldenDict compatible format(s)?

I may consider writing a converter of my own if there are none already out there, but my perl-foo isn't that great so it would take me quite a bit of time. I'm brand new to GoldenDict and will need to learn about the file formats. Thank you for your time.
