Wikipedia English stopped working :(

Hello,
I started receiving the message: "Query error: XML parse error: unexpected end of file at 1,1"
I have read somewhere that in order to resolve it (they were talking about the Russian Wiki) https is to be used instead of http.
Tried it, but receive "Query error: SSL handshake failed"
They also said that OpenSSL might be needed.
I downloaded it and installed it, but I'm not sure if I need to do anything else, and the error above still sppears.
An help would be deeply appreciated.

When using http://en.wikipedia.org/w I get also the following error
Query error: XML parse error: unexpected end of file at 1,1
When changing to https://en.wikipedia.org/w I get the followng error:
Query error: SSL handshake failed

I'm not able to use Wikipedia with the GoldonDict application. Any idea how to solve this?

When using the https address I get the message : "Query error: SSL handshake failed" what I was also describing in my previous reply and what the original poster of this issue was also saying.

I have the same issue.

After installing, I received the message:

I changed http to https.

Now I get this error message:

"Query error: SSL handshake failed"

How to proceed?
