Full text search - status?

I've seen a couple references to full-text search function in these forums. Is that still in the works for v 1.0 or whatever's next? It certainly would be my #1 request.

It would also be nice to get some update on progress on a next release...

All the development is completely transparent - you can see how it goes on gitorious.org. There is no schedule for features or releases.

I've been ending up running Stardict as well just to have that full-text search function when I need it -- which ends up being pretty often. It would be REALLY nice to have this in GoldenDict...

Since when did StarDict have full-text search?

According to the changelog, since version 2.4.7 (2006). It is enabled by beginning the search query with the '|' character. It works pretty well.

Full text search is definitely a wonderful feature.
I learnt about GoldenDict just a few days ago and decided to try it. Everything seems to be fine (including much faster startup compared to StarDict). But full text search is a thing I'm really missing in GoldenDict.
That is why I have to keep both StarDict and GoldenDict in my system at the moment.
I would be very glad to see this feature in GoldenDict too.

Hi!
I'm a new user and having the same question found this topic.
It's very helpful to have a functionality to enter several words, click a button, and go through all example sentences in all dictionaries where all those words are present.
Are there any plans to add this feature?
