Ctrl+C+C (Win8.1 x64) and other questions:

Postby Patrik » Mon Jun 16, 2014 7:57 am

I am using GD tool privatly and compaire it with Babylon in my office.

There are some minor things now I like to ask you all if you mind:
- I use a autohotkey script which helps me to use my mouse (middle button doubble click) to get almost any word into the main window of GD.
Because I have read in the GD forum that Firefox and other programs are not so easily detected.
Any improvements that it will work on FF and other programs too ?

- Digits in the search bar:
If digits are in the main window of GD, I would like to start a small external program (converber.exe) just by a right-click of the mouse button.
At the moment there are only 7 standard context menu available like cut/paste/select...
Now if an external program could be selected e.g. under Edit/Dictionaries/Programs.
And this would be available too as a context menu.

- CTRL+C with Win8.1 x64
When the option CTRL+C+C is active the CTRL+C is not working on other programs (also a bug description in the forum and GIThub #427).
With Win7 x64 it works normally.

- User hints and manual.
Unfortunately there are so many hidden tweaks which could be helpful but only the software guys know of them.
Would there be a chance to have something like an online Help Manual ?

Thank you for reading this and any feedback.
Best regards
Patrik

Try to launch GD with admin rights.

Thank you Abs62
That did the job !
I am surprised, that I have to specially select "run as admin" as I am actually running WIN 8.1 on a Admin profile ?

Looking forward for further hints concerning my other issues.
Best regards
