GoldenDict Forum

Hi all,

GoldenDict ver 1.5.0-RC2-188-g801ab72 on Windows 10.

I have used GoldenDict for several years and always worked fine. Then suddenly it doesn't run on Windows Start up anymore.
"Start with System" is checked and "Start to system tray" is checked as well, but GoldenDisct doesn't run on Windows Start up.
I have uninstalled without deleting configuration and reinstalled again, but still it doesn't run on Windows start up. Then fully uninstalled using "Revo Uninstall" then reinstalled and still doesn't run on startup.
Running GoldenDic manually seems to be working just fine.

I run out of ideas after checking and rechecking.

Any clue?

BTW I even reinstalled the old version 1.0.1-1 but didn't work either.
So, I gave up. Decided to "hardwire" the GoldenDict shortcut to the Startup folder. Not an elegant solution but it works. Nonetheless, still don't know what happened.
