Is it possible to use Google translate for sound instead?

Frovo has a limit of 500 requests. It looks enough, but one inquiry uses more than one (I don't know the rule exactly, but XML request count seems to depend on the number of candidates), and re-listenings count.

On the other hand, Google translate have acceptable pronunciations for many languages. And it seems free. Can we use google in the current version, or will you add it to the software in the future?

Forvo uses real sounds recorded by actual humans. On the other hand, Google translate uses Text-to-Speech (TTS) functionality so it's artificial and not always accurate. Besides, Google doesn't have a public API.
However, If you are ok with TTS why don't you use built-in TTS feature in latest versions of GoldenDict? As far as I know, it's supported in Windows and Mac OS X. Not sure if it's available in Linux.
