Can't reproduce. I test last Qt5-based version 1.5.0-RC-474-g89ab1bf_(QT_531) on this site and it have play sounds.

I checked this version right now, still no sound, and the reason is just the same(the audio-file-request was pended).
Should I modify some configuration?
I'm using the default configuration now.

May be. Try to put this library (directly in "mediaservice" folder) in Qt5-based GD folder.

I found that AUDIO control looks strange in Goldendict,
please look at the attachment.

steps to reproduce:
1 add online dictionary: http://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/%GDWORD%
2 search "upset", and click Continue reading... in the "WORD ROUTES" sidebar column.
3 in the middle of the newly opened page there will be an audio control,
it can play sounds, but the process bar looks strange.

I want to apply the qt-style.css to change the dictionary bar color, but one issue I don't know how to deal with:
