Any specific schedule or plan for these two functions?

Yes indeed, full text search is the only really useful function lacking in Goldendict. A full-text Boolean or regex search across multiple dictionaries would make Goldendict absolutely the best dictionary application available.

I couldn't help but try it right away. I followed the guidelines on the linked page, downloaded the Python Windows Installer, not without some hesitation, and the whole thing is working!

There is some plugin to enable GoldenDict full-text-search for StarDict type dictionaries.
