Translation to appear in the main window

Now, if I press the assigned keyboard shortcut, small (I would say primitive) window of GoldenDict opens.
I would prefer the main window of GoldenDict covering the whole screen to open.
Now I solve this issue by turning off translation by keyboard shortcut and assigning the keyboard shortcut to open the main window. So, I select a word, press the keyboard shortcut, the main window opens, then I click Ctrl+V to insert the copied word into entry bar and press Enter. But it's too long.
I would prefer to select a word, press the keyboard shortcut and see translation in the main window opened (as in ABBYY Lingvo).

Yes, this has been requested a couple of times before, and I personally would like to see this behavior as well.

It's just the matter of resources and free time though.

FWIW, you can Ctrl-V directly into the main window with the definition.

I also want to see implemented an option to choose between open scan popup or main window.

When finding some word I don't know I usually just want a quick translation and keep focusing on the text at hand, so the small window fits my tastes. In fact I rarely open the main window.

But as long as it's an option, no problem.
