Trial and error…

Hi,
out of sheer curiosity did I transfer some 3,81 GB of the "EB 2010.dsl.files.zip" file – which works just fine on the Windows platform – onto my Galaxy S3. GD tries hard to do the indexing, but upon confirming "Done", it wants to re-index. I tried it several times to no avail. The same is true on my tablet Asus Transformer 101.

Is this the intended behavior on account of its size? I am aware that smartphones aren't supposed to handle such big chunks of information. However, there had been no problem indexing the 1,25 GB "DOCE5.dsl.files.zip" file on the GS3.

BTW, the GS3 has plenty of internal storage (16/32), expandable to additional 64 GB on micro SD. Last, but not least, I am manipulating files with the help of "Software Data Cable" (it's free software, not hardware) on the Android device, and with FileZilla on the PC side.
Kind regards

There's currently a 2GB limit on the .zip files in Android version.
